Good Deeds

A movie about trying to do the right thing. But what is the right thing? Especially if all you have ever done is do what other people tell you is the right thing? That’s a question that the hero of the story faces. Many teens ask the same question: “I’ve always tried to do the right thing, but is it really something that makes me happy?” It’s a question that all of us have to face many times in our lives. It’s easy to be selfish, and we don’t want that, but are there some things we really want to do that aren’t wrong? These things might just be different than what our parents or authorities tell us the is the right thing for us. There are real dangers to asking this question, but it is important to deal with it. It’s interesting to see how the main character of the story navigates this question. This could be a very good discussion movie for teenagers.
