Pos­i­tive values

1. Fight against the bad guys with all that you’ve got.

2. Have a sense of humor even when things are really dan­ger­ous: helps to face dan­ger with a bit more calm.

3. We all need super­hero sto­ries because it shows us who we are called to be. Each of us are called to be heroic.

Neg­a­tive values

1. Iron Man’s nar­cis­sism. He does get over it, but it takes the whole movie.

2. Iron Man’s atti­tude toward women (most of the time) is pretty self­ish and super­fi­cial; just focused on what they can do for him. Still, he does save the damsel in dis­tress and rec­og­nizes that she really cares about him.
