Susan Joy Bellavance

I am a member of the Catholic Writers’ Guild, freelancing from New Hampshire. I live there with my husband Dale, and my two daughters, Sophia, a junior at Franciscan University, and Marguerite, a freshman at Trivium School. I teach confirmation at St. Patrick’s Parish in Newport, New Hampshire, and volunteer at Bishop Peterson’s home for elderly priests in the diocese Manchester. I love faith, family, writing, gardening, cooking and Lord of the Rings.

This story is really great in that it can capture a teenager’s attention, which is difficult to do sometimes. They all can relate to the X games, as those who participate seem to be trying to “find themselves”, to find out who they are which is what every teen struggles with. And it links the daring nature of the Xgames with the Christian life, in which we must be daring. There is a correlation here, that can really capture the imagination of teens. I love it. Great work!!!!!! I will show my teens this. It’s really good.
